Pastor’s Bio

Brandon Smith – Senior Pastor
Brandon majored in Unmanned Aircraft Systems and Strategical Planning at Cochise College in Arizona. Over the years he has served 23 years in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Army.  In 2019 he retired from military service to become a fulltime minister and to work with the people in the community.  His wife Donna is a Registered Nurse at Cabrini Hospital where she works as a Labor and Delivery Nurse.  She graduated from LSUA in 2007 with her associates degree in nursing.  They have two wonderful children Alyssa and Ethan that keep them busy with farm life around the house.  They all enjoy spending time together and going out to visit people when they have time.  Brandon was called to the ministry in 2017 and has been a bi-vocational Pastor at Dixie Baptist Church.  In 2018 he was ordained as a Pastor to carry the torch passed down from his grandfather Rev. Edward Smith.  He is very passionate about the people in his church and community and wants to be able to reach them all to share Gods word to.
